Readiness, Education, and Sustainability for CGM Technoloy Adoption (REST) Model for Older Adults with Insulin-Treated Diabetes.

To assess the effectiveness of virtual/remote training and education on initiation and sustained use of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) in older adults with either type 1 or type 2 diabetes on complex insulin regimens.

  • What tests and procedures are involved?
    There are 3 in-person clinic visits and up to 13 remote/virtual visits. Participants will be asked to wear a CGM during the study and participate in remote/virtual visits with a certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES). Blood may be drawn for laboratory tests if they have not been done within 30 days of Visit 1.

Participants will receive up to $380 for completing the study.
