Residency Applicants

Per Association of Program Directors in Surgery (APDS), we will start sending out interview invitations October 26, 2022.

Per APDS recommendations, SUNY Upstate Medical University residency interviews will remain virtual for the upcoming (2022-23) interview season. We had very good success with the virtual format last year and feel that our applicants got a good "taste" of the program.

To allow interested medical students to learn more about us, we will hold two virtual town halls before the official application process starts.

Thursday, September 29, 2022, 5:30-7:00pm
