A Randomized Phase III Trial of Two Standard Dose Fractionation Regimens for Adjuvant Vaginal Brachytherapy in Early Stage Endometrial Cancer

What is the purpose of the study? (in Layman's terms, please describe the study)

The purpose of this study is to see the effects of two different standard of care radiation treatments for endometrial cancer on sexual dysfunction. This study will compare two standard of care treatments: HDR vaginal brachytherapy 3 treatments at a dose of 7 Gy (Group A) to HDR vaginal brachytherapy 6 treatments at a dose of 4 Gy (Group B) for early stage endometrial cancer.
