Telehealth means you can see an emergency-room doctor without leaving home

People with life-threatening emergencies should call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department. But people with less emergent problems are eligible for same-day telemergency medicine through telehealth visits. Bill Paolo, MD, explains how these telehealth visits work and for whom they are designed. Paolo is an associate professor of emergency medicine and of public health and preventive medicine at Upstate.
