What's been learned about illegal or abused drugs from the past year

Toxicologist Christine Stork, PharmD, talks about a variety of abused drugs that have been in the spotlight in the past year. In addition to vaping-related lung injury, Stork discusses opioids, such as fentanyl and carfentanil, the herbal extract kratom and the antidepressant tianeptine. She is a professor of emergency medicine at Upstate and serves as clinical director of the Upstate New York Poison Center.
