TARGET AUDIENCE:
Northern NY area physicians and healthcare IT staff
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1. Articulate the other group's unique roles, insights and challenges regarding health IT within the medical practice
2. Articulate and utilize strategies for improved communication regarding health IT to IT staff, during and beyond moments of immediate crisis. Experience greater motivation and empowerment to improve communication with IT staff.
3. Clinicians should be able to articulate and appreciate the clinical relevance of health IT, especially with regard to population health management
4. IT staff should be able to articulate a thorough understanding of clinician workflow challenges with health IT and have some strategies for mitigating those challenges
