Ghosts of Therapists Past and other Variants of Transference Neurosis

This presentation will focus on the traditional definition and understanding of transference neurosis as understood in contemporary psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. I will then describe variations of phenomena encountered in psychotherapy that can be understood as variations of transference neurosis. Implications for clinical practice will be described.
