The Biology and Clinical Aspects of Parasitic Infection - HOW YOUR CAT CAN MAKE YOU CRAZY

David H. Beach, Ph.D., University Instructional Specialist/Research Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology and Immunology, and Senior Advisory Dean, Upstate Medical University, Syracuse NY

This presentation will focus on the biology of the protozoa parasite, Toxoplasma gondii. We will discuss the life cycle of the parasite and how it may enter the human host. Newer research indicates that this parasite may in fact be responsible for clinical psychiatry outcomes.

Dr. Beach does not have financial relationships with commercial interests.
