About the Public Safety Division
The Department of Public Safety is located in room 1326 of University Hospital, open 24 hours a day, everyday, providing around-the-clock protection and service for the campus community. Public Safety assists University Police by providing aid in enforcement of federal, state, and local statutes, along with Upstate Medical University policies.
The Department Public Safety falls under the leadership of the Chief of Police for the University Police Department.
