The Affiliation Council of SUNY Upstate Medical University and Crouse Hospital

The Affiliation Council of SUNY Upstate Medical University and Crouse Hospital was formed in late 2007 in response to a recommendation by the Commission on Health Care Facilities in the 21st Century (referred to as the Berger Commission).

The Commission's recommendation was to have the two hospitals - longtime collaborators in a number of clinical areas - explore additional opportunities for closer collaboration and partnership. The Affiliation Council meets monthly.
