Patient Relations/Satisfaction

The Patient Relations Department at University Hospital personally responds to patient and family concerns and facilitates communication between patients, family members, and the patient's caregivers. We recognize that being in the hospital may be a confusing and sometimes unsettling experience. Whether you're a patient or a visitor, we would like to make your stay at University Hospital as comfortable as possible.

Concerns

If you have a concern about the quality of care provided, we encourage you first to bring your concern to the attention of the hospital's management by contacting our Patient Relations Department. If you or your representative feels that the Patients' Bill of rights has been violated, please let us know.

Assistance

If you or a family member needs assistance during your hospitalization, please call the Patient Relations Department at 315 464-5597. You can also voice any concerns you might have to nurses, ambassadors, or any other hospital staff member. The Patient Relations staff is also available to assist patients, family members and friends with non-medical questions or concerns related to outpatient visits or hospital stays.
