The Upstate Difference

The VCFS Center at Upstate is the most comprehensive program of its type.  Located in a new suite of offices in the heart of the academic medical complex at Upstate, the staff consists of a large team of clinicians and scientists who devote their time to understanding and treating VCFS. The programs clinicians come from more than 20 specialties and apply state-of-the-art procedures, many of them discovered or developed at Upstate.  The care spreads across all aspects of medicine, surgery, and behavioral science.  Scientists at the Center have won major grants for their research, and they are in the forefront of scientific investigations aimed at understanding every aspect of VCFS, including treatment.

The Center has a dedicated full time staff of professionals and is full time program.
