Meet Our Fellows

Ashwini Shadakshari, MD

2nd year fellow. Born in Chitradurga, India.  Dr. Shadakshari is a graduate of J.J.M. Medical College in Davangere, India.  She completed Residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.  She is a member of the American College of Physicians,  American College of Rheumatology, the American Society of Nephrology, and the Medical Society of the State of New York.  Dr. Shadakshari started her own private practice after completing medical school, providing primary care in her hometown.  Special interests include SLE, vasculitis and psoriatic arthritis.

Hao Zhang, MD

1st Year Fellow, is a graduate of Fourth Military Medical University in Xian, China.   He completed Residency at Interfaith Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY.  He finished his post-doctorate research fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.  Dr. Zhang has a significant research and academic background; in addition to his medical degree and residency in orthopedic surgery, he also has a PhD in Biology.  Dr. Zhang is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research.
