Center for Outcomes Research (CORE)

CORE Mission

In collaboration with the clinical and research faculty of SUNY Upstate Medical University, the CORE will conduct research and execute data analyses designed to guide the improvement of patient care and associated patient outcomes.

It is not enough that you should understand about applied science in order that your work may increase (hu)man's blessings.

CORE Goals

To offer methodological expertise and collaborate in the design, implementation, understanding and analysis of clinical research for the purpose of evaluating health care delivery, patient and population outcomes. Expertise will be provided in:
- Clinical Epidemiology
- Biostatistics
- Health Services Research, including cost and effectiveness evaluation
- To initiate, collaborate in, and obtain grant funding in support of clinical outcomes research at Upstate Medical University.
To publish manuscripts and other materials designed to educate the broader community of heath care clinicians, researchers, leaders, and payers regarding: strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
To provide applied population and patient outcome analysis to organizations requiring support on a contractual basis.
