Letter From the Chairman
Welcome to the SUNY Upstate Medical University Department of Radiation Oncology. Being diagnosed with cancer is something none of us are prepared for. The good news for us all is that the treatment of cancer has advanced greatly in the last three decades. This will be evident when you visit any of our four locations and see the technology available to us to help you. But remember, our offices are not inhabited by cold unfeeling machines but rather physicians, therapists, nurses, physicists, and administrators dedicated to the best healing experience for you and your family.
You too are a central member of our therapy team and we look forward to your active participation throughout the time you are here. If you have questions, concerns, and suggestions please feel free to share them with us.
