Department of Psychiatry

Our department conducts its programs in several different facilities, all on the same campus. Psychiatry is too broad and multifaceted for any one facility to be able to provide all the experiences necessary for a well-rounded educational program. Yet training suffers when fragmented into geographically distant "rotations."

We are fortunate in being able to draw on the distinctive characteristics of several facilities to provide breadth and diversity, while maintaining the continuity and cohesiveness of our programs. We are fortunate also in being part of a major university medical center with superb clinical and basic science faculty and excellent facilities.
