Upstate: A Great College Town and Dedicated Students
A Great College Town
Syracuse, the fourth largest city in New York State, enjoys cultural attractions such as a symphony, theatres, opera, art museums, a science museum, a zoo, and many sports and outdoor activities.
It is also a vibrant college town. The Upstate campus is across the street from Syracuse University and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Add in nearby LeMoyne College and Onondaga Community College and you have a town filled with students, professors, research centers, libraries and great sports.
Dedicated Students (Who Have Fun, Too)
Our students know what they want, are eager to learn and are dedicated to their studies.
That's not to say an Upstate education is all work. We show first-run movies on campus nearly every weekend, host coffee houses and comedy hours, offer discounted tickets to local theatres and sporting events, and run day trips to New York City, Toronto and nearby wineries.
