Skiboot Injuries: The Effect of Variable Hamstring Loading on ACL Strain

(Inv:Webster, Werner) Increased ACL strain can occur when the tail of the ski lands first and the quadriceps is highly activated. This, at times, has resulted in ACL tears or injury. This biomechanical study is examining whether increased hamstrings loading will decrease the ACL strain and thus support the beneficial effect of clinical hamstrings strength training.
