APGO
The Association of Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGP) is a non-profit, membership-based organization for women’s health educators. APGO promotes excellence in women’s health care by providing optimal resources and support to educators who inspire, instruct, develop and empower women’s health providers of tomorrow.
CREOG
The council on Resident Education in OB/GYN (CREOG) is a group within APGO that is devoted exclusively to resident education.
This year’s “APGO 2011 National Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching” was presented to Raja W. Abdul-Karim, M.D., Professor in the Department of OB/GYN, at our Resident Graduation Program on June 28, 2011 in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of obstetrics and gynecology. Here you will see Dr. Karim being presented his award from Robert K. Silverman, MD, Chairman and Chief of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department.

The year’s “CREOG 2011 National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education” was presented to Shawky Z.A. Badawy, M.D., Professor of Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. also at our Resident Graduation Program on June 28, 2011 in recognition of his Here you will see Dr. Badawy and Dr. Karim standing with Robert K. Pujan Shrestha won the Humanism and Excellence Award. Based on his demonstration to commitment, teaching skills and his compassion to patients, families and colleagues
