About the Nursing Alumni Association
What is the Alumni Association?
- It was established in 1992 as a non-profit, tax-exempt association.
- There are over 2,000 members. Alumni are automatically a member upon graduation.
- Members include all graduates of the College of Nursing, plus all graduates of two former nursing programs: AAS Degree program (1959 - 1977) and the NP Certificate Program (1974-1984).
- There is an alumni Board of Directors, which represents all former and current nursing programs
What We Do
We are here to support the students and faculty of the College of Nursing.
- We award numerous annual scholarships to College of Nursing students.
- We provide equipment and other resources for the Nursing Alumni Clinical Skills Laboratory.
- We give financial support to our student organization, SACON.
- We host alumni events and activities.
