Upstate looks to fill more than 100 jobs
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Upstate Medical University, the region’s largest employer, will hold its annual Healthcare Career Expo March 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Institute for Human Performance, 505 Irving Ave., Syracuse. Free parking is available in the rear of the building, off Madison Street.
Upstate officials say about 150 jobs are currently available to be filled. Healthcare positions available include registered nurses, nursing assistants, physical, occupational and respiratory therapists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and lab techs. Nursing positions are available in many units throughout the hospital. Some of the open non-patient care positions include programmer/analysts and information technology professionals, medical coders, administrative support, and housekeeping.
Representatives from various departments will be available to answer questions about different jobs. Upstate’s Nursing Recruitment Office will accept resumes and conduct on-the-spot job interviews.
