Gala and Radiothon raise more than $250,000

Pediatric cancer center receives $110,000 from annual run and Wal Mart contribution
A cupcakes for kids party helped celebrate the arrival of a donation of more than $110,000 raised from an annual run in memory of former patient, Paige Yeomans Arnold. The proceeds will go to Upstate Medical University's center for pediatric cancer and blood disorders.

SUNY Upstate receives $2 million NIH grant to study bone density of young female gymnasts
Study will see whether gymnastic participation during childhood leads to stronger, thicker bones in adulthood, decreasing osteoporosis risk.
