Meet Our Fellows
Dhruval Patel, MD, 1st Year Fellow, he received his medical degree from BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad, India and completed his residency at Monmouth Medical Center, NJ. He loves Nephrology and has a particular interest in Acute Kidney Injury and Glomerular Disease. He's happily married to his beloved life companion; and enjoys spending time with his family, friends and traveling.
Anil Singh, MD, 1st Year Fellow, his interest in renal topics began when he attended medical school in India, with a special interest in Glomerular diseases. His decision to become a Nephrologist was also greatly influenced by one of his mentors, a practicing Nephrologist in Florida, Dr. Levinson. In 2007, he joined the Internal Medicine Residency program at Monmouth Medical Center, New Jersey. He is enjoying his Nephrology training at SUNY Upstate Medial University and in during his spare time, enjoys spending time with his family.
Binaya Khanal, MD, 2nd Year Fellow, is a medical graduate of BPK Institute of Health Sciences in Nepal. He went from the Himalayas to the Pacific ocean and worked there as a primary care doctor in Marshall Islands before joining SUNY Upstate for residency. His interests are in acute kidney injury and various modalities of renal replacement therapy. He enjoys spending time with his family in leisure and likes to travel around the world.
Satinder Singh, MD, 2nd Year Fellow, received his undergraduate and medical education in India. He completed his Internal Medicine training at Upstate Medical University. He also served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Upstate Medical University. His main interests are nephrolithiasis and, bone disease in CKD.
