Special interests and future plans: I am going into my three years of medicine with open eyes, and if I choose to specialize I'll hope the field chooses me.
Interests/hobbies outside of medicine: Outside of medicine my interests are: photography, cars, driving, cooking, and my family enjoys making our own wine.
Languages spoken, other than English: I speak Gujurati and a little bit of Spanish.
Why you decided to come to our program: Upstate Medical University has fantastic "family" feel among residents and staff. Being a very strong program, I have plenty of opportunities to pursue future academic endeavors. An added benefit for me personally is my family is close by, and I was raised in New Hartford, NY a town 45mins away. Very excited to be part of the Upstate family!
