Positions: For 20112012, there will be two positions in the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Upstate Medical University.

All applications are accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service . Deadline for completed applications is January 10th of the year preceding the program start date. Appointments for the Fellowship Program will be made through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). All candidates must register through the NRMP.

Interviews will be coordinated directly by the Fellowship Program Coordinator at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Applicants considered for an interview will be contacted and invited to SUNY Upstate Medical University for an interview with the Program Director and selected faculty.
We will participate in the NRMP (National Resident Matching Program) .

82 or better on Step 1 and Step 2 of the USMLE on the first attempt. Step 3 score is required prior to granting an interview
At least 3 Letters of Recommendation are required.
We accept international medical graduates if they have ECFMG certification and they have successfully completed an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency.
We will sponsor J1 Visa's only, we do not sponsor H-1 Visas.
Unfortunately, SUNY Upstate does not offer observerships or externships.
Interviews are scheduled from January through March.
