Mission Statement
The Internal Medicine Clerkship is the core or fundamental educational experience in your third year of medical education and professional development. During this rotation you will be exposed to all aspects of medical education in which to begin your transition into clinical medicine and patient care. The clerkship strives to provide you with a strong fundamental base of medical knowledge and skills, the insight and desire for self-evaluation and life-long learning, and a strong sense of professional ethics. The clerkship will provide an introduction to the vast and interesting field of internal medicine and its subspecialties.
The Medicine Clerkship is 12 weeks long and is comprised of following components:
