SUNY Upstate Health Sciences Library Addendum to the Upstate Medical University Web Privacy Policy

In addition to the Upstate Medical University Web Privacy Policy, users of the Health Sciences Library should be aware of the following.

The Health Sciences Library web site contains links to other web sites, including but not limited to databases and electronic journals which the Library has licensed for the use of our students, faculty, and staff. The Library is not responsible for the privacy practices of those web sites.

All saved searches and AutoAlerts within the Ovid system (Medline, CINHAL, etc.) are accessible to other SUNY Upstate Medical University Health Sciences Library users and cannot be kept confidential; this includes any and all information provided as part of the search and the name under which the search is saved. Permanent searches may be retained indefinitely.
