Facts and FiguresThe Library BuildingThe Health Sciences Library moved to its new quarters, the Library Addition to Weiskotten Hall, in December 1995. The four story building, comprising 70,000 total square feet (48,000 square feet of usable net floor space), was designed by Einhorn, Yaffe, and Prescott of Albany, New York. Features of the building include an atrium entrance, moveable compact shelving, and built-in network access on every floor. History of the Health Sciences Library Library PoliciesThe primary clientele of the Health Sciences Library are the students, faculty and staff at Upstate Medical University. However, most areas of the Library are open to students from other institutions and to members of the public, who may use its resources on site.
