Course Reserves

Course Reserves provide access to reserve materials for the educational programs at the Upstate Medical University. Reserve materials can include books, book chapters, journal articles, and audiovisual materials necessary for course work. If you have any questions, email library@upstate.edu or telephone 464-7087.

Reserves:

The Closed Course Reserves area is located on the first floor behind the Circulation desk. Books and media placed on reserve can be borrowed at the Circulation Desk. They must be used within the library, and there is a two hour restriction on the use of these materials. Reserve materials may be taken out one hour before closing and must be returned the following day one hour after opening. Articles or tests on reserve are located in the wells on the circulation desk. The honor system is used when borrowing these materials: please take them, copy them and return when finished.

Electronic Reserves:

Journal articles and book chapters on Electronic Reserve (e-reserve) are available through the Library's web site. Please note: Electronic Reserves are provided for students & faculty of Upstate Medical University only.
