Policy I-07 "Interpreter Services for Patients with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) or Hearing/Visual or Speech Impairments" of Upstate University Hospital discusses services to afford persons equal and effective access to interpreters and communications tools when needed. The hospital will provide to such persons interpretive services and/or other communications aids, in a manner consistent with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and NYSDOH Health Code 405.7 requirements.
