Employee/Labor Relations administers and interprets the various labor agreements (CSEA, PEF, UUP, NYSCOPBA, Council 82, and GSEU) at SUNY Upstate Medical University. This includes grievances, disciplines, and all other contractual matters. This section also handles employee relations matters related to Research Foundation and Management/Confidential employees. Supervisors/managers should contact Employee/Labor Relations for assistance and guidance in the counseling and discipline process, such as addressing inappropriate work behaviors, time and attendance, and/or performance of employees.
