Linda Cohen—About the Host

Linda Tepper Cohen is the Communications and Patient Services Coordinator for the Internal Medicine Offices of Paul S. Cohen MD.

From May 2008 through May 2009, Linda served as the Director of Marketing and Communications at the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology (MOST). From 2004 through 2008, she served as Marketing and Communications associate, Elderly Services Coordinator and the Aging Services Specialist for the Onondaga County Department of Aging & Youth. Prior to that, Linda was the creator, producer and host of Time Warner Cable Channel 13’s weekly television interview show, Families in Focus, which addressed a wide variety of topics of interest to families ranging from relationships to developmental and educational issues. She also was a radio host on FM-WAER’s morning Jazz show, hosted a weekly segment on WTVH’s nightly news and hosted a segment on Time Warner’s Magazine 13.

Linda graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude from Brooklyn College in NYC, has a M.A in Speech & Language Pathology from Columbia University and practiced for over 25 years as a Speech & Language therapist, predominantly with children. Her interest in development and educational issues led her to serve as a member of the Fayetteville-Manlius Board of Education for 9 years, on the Board of Trustees of Cazenovia College, as member of the Onondaga City /County Youth Board, on the Executive Board of CONTACT Community Services and a member of the board for the Onondaga Citizens League. She is also a 1999 graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse and a member of Thursday Morning Roundtable. Linda and her husband Paul have three adult children.
