• The Erie Canal Ride
  5/18 9:00am: Events
  The Erie Canal Ride is a two-day, 70-mile bicycle ride along the Old Erie Canal Trail to support pediatric cancer care at the Upstate Cancer Center. Route begins at the Butternut Creek Aqueduct in Dewitt and travel 35 miles to Erie Canal Village in Rome, NY, and return the next day. Meals are provided, and pre-registration is required.

• Miracle Motorcycle Ride & BBQ
  5/20 All day: Events
  A 60 mile scenic ride around Onondaga and Madison counties and back to the Spinning Wheel Restaurant for a chicken BBQ and music. Rain or shine!

• Race for Hope
  5/27 8:30am: Events
  Race for Hope is a scenic 24 mile timed open bicycle race through the rolling hills of Borodino, New York. Race is open to ages 15 and older. This race began inspired by Dick Shaffer, a Borodino resident and triathlete who passed away from cancer in 2006. His never give up spirit lives in encouraging wellness and helping children with cancer.

• Paige's Butterfly Run
  6/2 9:00am: Events
  A walk/run in honor of Paige Yeomans Arnold, to benefit pediatric cancer. Activities for the entire family include 5K USATF certified run, 3K fun run/walk, caterpillar crawl, centipede division, followed by awards ceremony.

  25th Annual Upstate Open Golf Tournament, supporting the new Upstate Cancer Center. Pre-registration is required.

• Alyssa's Run

  This is the seventh annual event to honor the life of Alyssa Bailey Marko, and to help the Pediatric Oncology Unit at Upstate University Hospital and its Child Life Program, as well as The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

• Race for the Cure
  5/19 8:30am: Special Events
  5K fun run/walk, 5K competitive run, 5K competitive wheelchair event, and kids 1-mile fun run & walk. To benefit breast cancer education, treatment and research through the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

• AIDS Walk/Run
  6/3 10:05am: Special Events
  5K walk or 10K run to raise awareness of HIV AIDS in our local community and raise money to support AIDS Community Resources adolescent prevention program and client emergency needs. $25 minimum donation encouraged, not required.

• National Cancer Survivors Day

• Duck Race to End Racism

  A FREE family festival featuring food, music, community information booths, entertainment and FUN for the whole family, and a duck race.

  A motorcycle ride (aproximately 60 miles) to benefit the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund in downtown Syracuse. The ride will start and end at the Dinosaur Barb-B-Que in downtown Syracuse, and includes breakfast, cookout, bike raffle and t-shirt.
