Description of Research Project:
Since I am still completing lab rotations, I have not finalized my thesis project. My areas of research interest involve cancer epigenetics, metabolic changes in cancer, and molecular mechanism of oncogenesis.

Favorite thing about SUNY Upstate:
Being associated with the medical college and hospital, we get to observe and participate in a myriad of translational research being done. Beisdes, I enjoy listening to current hot topics in biomedical research presented by both students and invited prominent scientists.

Favorite thing about Syracuse or Central New York:
Syracuse is a heaven for winter lovers. I enjoy watching the beautiful and historical architecture of Syracuse University basking in the golden sunshine in the summer and adorned with a thick coat of fluffy snow in the winter.
