The Global Ambassadors Program was created to connect prospective international students that are thinking of applying, in the process of applying, or accepted to the PhD program to connect with current students in the College of Graduate Studies here at SUNY Upstate. The Global Ambassadors represent several different countries including Iran, India, China, Bangladesh, and Moldova. The goal of the Global Ambassadors Program is to help accepted international students successful transition to the PhD program and the United States. It will also provide these new students a mentor from their home country or with similar research interests throughout their journey to Upstate and first year here.
