Description of Research Project:
My research focuses on blood cancer. We are trying to identify novel targets in blood cancer, especially MPN. Understanding the molecular mechanism of the targets, as well as their clinical relevance is our major focus. We use in-vitro and in-vivo mouse models to student the gene function.

Favorite thing about SUNY Upstate:
SUNY Upstate gives the opportunity to focus on your research, solely. The environment is very helpful and the facilities are outstanding.

Favorite thing about Syracuse or Central New York:
Central New York is full of glorious natural views, lots of lakes. The natural beauty of Syracuse as well as Central New York is attractive to me.
