Exceptional Family Resources (EFR)

Formerly known as Parents' Information Group, EFR is a support agency serving families, professionals, agencies, and the general public. EFR provides respite and residential habilitation services; educational and other advocacy services; linkage to other programs; and information and referral. Parent-to Parent of NYS, a statewide telephone support network is coordinated regionally by EFR. PACT (Parents Advocating and Collaborating Together) provides a broad range of services to parent support groups and individual families.

EFR publishes "The Directory of Services in Onondaga County: Serving People with Special Needs and Their Families." Updated every two years, the directory provides a wealth of information.
