Measuring Progress...

Review

The Implementation Teams begin the process creating implementation plans for Engaging Excellence Recommendations:

  • Identify the primary goals and scope of the recommendations being implemented through a review of the original team charter, recommendations, administrative responses and the Leadership Councils action, including budget considerations (if applicable.)

Planning

During this stage the teams continue to:

  • identify objectives and targeted dates of completion
  • create metrics that will be used to measure outcomes from implementation
  • identify and confer with key stakeholders and departments impacted by the implementation
  • list major deliverables with target dates that will be met during the implementation stage.
  • create a communications plan that outlines how the Upstate community , both internal and external, will be updated on the implementation's progress

Resource Review/Budgeting

The teams identify the resources (financial, operational, and human resources) required for implementation:

  • Existing institutional resources
  • The budgeted resources as approved through Engaging Excellence
  • New resources not previously identified

Implementation

Using the implementation plan's deliverables/timeline and the communication's plan as guides, this stage reports the extent to which the plan's goals have been implemented.
