Dr. Martini Presents Ethical Questions and MOLST/POLST on Friday, Oct. 17

Dyllon Martini, MD, third-year Emergency Medicine resident, will present Ethical Questions and MOLST/POLST Friday, Oct. 17 from noon to 1 p.m. in 2509/2510 Setnor Academic Building.

MOLST stands for Medical Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment and is meant to empower patients during serious health issues. Many patients and their family members arrive with a signed form yet are unsure what the form means. A case study will be followed highlighting a family’s confusion about the form, unwillingness to follow their parent’s wishes and the difficulties that followed.
