Dr. Fullagar attended medical school at the Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. He then went on to complete his Emergency Medicine Residency and EMS Fellowship at the SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Fullagar is the medical director and flight physician for the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office Air-1 / University Hospital Air Medical Service in Syracuse, and the medical director for the Western Area Volunteer Emergency Service (WAVES) Ambulance, an advanced life support service based in Camillus, NY. Dr. Fullagar has over 20 years of experience as a prehospital provider and remains actively involved in field delivery and oversight of advanced ground and air medical care. He is a certified instructor in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Advanced Hazmat Life Support. He has been Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine since 2004. He currently holds a faculty position in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Upstate Medical University where he works as an attending emergency physician. Dr. Fullagar has served on the Board of Trustees of the Air Medical Physician Association as Secretary-Treasurer since 2008. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Emergency Physicians, the National Association of EMS Physicians, and the Air Medical Physicians Association. Dr. Fullagar also holds a position on the Regional Medical Advisory Committee for Central New York EMS.
