Residents also receive a monthly meal allowance and are eligible for health, dental, and vision coverage. A variety of retirement investment plans are available to residents, with matching funds provided by the medical university.
Moonlighting
While resident education is the highest priority in a residency program, moonlighting may be permitted under certain circumstances, with the written permission of the department chair and program director.
