"Smart" Classrooms & Facilities

EM-STAT's "Smart" classrooms serve as the home for continuing education programs such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support training and allied health care training.

The center houses:
  • Two thirty-seat "Smart" classrooms with a training podium housing:
    • Internet access
    • Computer projection
    • Document camera
    • Smart-podiums
  • Two 15-seat classrooms (can be joined to house up to 30 seats) with:
    • Internet access
    • Computer projection

EM-STAT's smart classrooms are available for use by both the community and all Upstate departments. To inquire about reserving the facilities, please use the EM-STAT Training Request Form.

Additional Facilities

In addition to the smart classrooms, the EM-STAT center also houses:

  • Four high-technology simulation rooms with video recording capabilities, including one operating room
  • Four breakout rooms for specialized training
  • Two kitchens/serving areas to facilitate day-long classes
