White Coat Ceremonies

The White Coat Ceremony is designed to convey to students that health care professionals not only treat, but also care for patients. Students will be welcomed to their College and the health care profession in the presence of parents, family members and friends. The Colleges of Medicine, Health Professions and Nursing have distinct celebrations.

The 2009 White Coat Ceremonies
will be held on the following dates:

• College of Health Professions: Wednesday, August 26, 2009
• College of Medicine: Thursday, August 20, 2009
• College of Nursing: Thursday, August 20, 2009
