Post Master's—Requirements
Acceptance of applications for the Post Master's program is on a rolling admissions basis until classes are full or until the July 15th deadline for the fall semester and November 15th for the spring semester. (Only nurse practitioners seeking a second certification may start in the spring.) You will be notified of a decision soon after the Admissions Committee reviews your completed application.
Admissions Requirements
- Clinical master's degree in nursing (NP, CNS programs)
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field, Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Education program)
- Health assessment skills (NP, CNS programs)
- Current New York state RN license
(All programs)
- Current CPR certification
(All programs)
- Two years full-time or equivalent RN work experience with at least one year with your specialty population (NP, CNS programs)
- 1,000 hours of work experience as a nurse practitioner (NP seeking a second specialty)
