Research
- 2001-2003: Co-investigator for study entitled: Individual educational
sessions and inmate follow-up for latent tuberculosis infection after release-
a pilot study.
- 6/02-12/02: Co-investigator for the EXCLAIM trial (a double-blind,
placebo-controlled, parallel, multicenter study on extended VTE prophylaxis
in acutely ill medical patients with prolonged immobilization)

- 2/19/02, 3/19/02, 4/23/02: Presented a health assessment teaching
day to RN's working for the New York State Office of Mental Retardation and
Developmental Disabilities (OMRDD)
- Spring 2003 - 3/12/03, 4/9/03, 5/7/03, 5/4/03: Presented Cardiac
Assessment: What you need to know, to nurses working in rural areas (Norwich,
Hamilton, Rome, and Oneida). These presentations were sponsored by a grant
funded by AHEC to provide continuing education to nurses working in rural
areas.
