Are you a science major?
Think you might like to work in Health Care? Not Sure?

Come spend some time with a health care professional in a clinical setting!

You are cordially invited... Health care offers a wide range of exciting and secure careers. As a science major, you are no doubt exploring the options for your future. The faculty and staff at the SUNY Upstate Medical University are offering you an opportunity to explore a health profession in a clinical setting.

Through this program, you will be paired with a health care professional in one of the following fields:

Cyto lab
You will join these professionals on the job as they pursue their daily activities, seeing patients or working in the labs. The Shadow Day ends with a reception where you can meet faculty, employees and current students in our programs.

For science and nursing majors who wish to continue their education beyond their first two years of school, Upstate offers two options. The College of Health Professions is an upper division transfer college, offering bachelor degree education in seven exciting fields along with a Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy. The College of Nursing offers bachelor's and master's degrees to RNs; and tuition is free for nurses who work at University Hospital.

Upstate graduates are in high demand, and find jobs that truly make a difference in people's lives.
