Special Opportunity for International Medical GraduatesSUNY Upstate Medical University is partnering with the New York State Department of Health to provide new health career opportunities for International Medical Graduates. Those who are New York state residents may be admitted into one of our College of Health Professions two-year bachelor degree programs, which would allow re-entry to a medically-related field. Students accepted to this program will be given a full tuition SUNY scholarship and a $10,000 yearly stipend to partially cover living expenses during their enrollment. Graduates who go on to practice in a rural community in New York State will not be required to repay any of these expenses. The funding for this program will only be available for students entering the program in Fall 2007 and Fall 2008 and positions are limited. |
