How to Apply: MS—Physician Assistant Studies

Physician Assistant applicants must submit both Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA) and Upstate Applications:

• Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA) application - https://portal.caspaonline.org
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Official College Transcripts
  • GRE Scores
  • Listing of Health Care Experience - 1000 hours
• Once your application is received from CASPA, a link to our Secondary Application will be sent to you. The Secondary Application must be submitted to Upstate Medical University along with a $50.00 application fee no later than January 15.
  

Please have your official GRE scores sent to the Student Admissions Office at SUNY Upstate Medical University if you have not submitted them to CASPA.

Interviews will be granted upon successful screening of completed applications.

Additional requirements based on individual situations. It is the responsibility of each student to confirm that a completed application is on file in the Office of Student Admissions

2013 Applicants:

• December 1, 2012: Application deadline for CASPA
• January 15, 2013: Deadline for completion of Upstate Supplemental Application and submission of supporting documents. (GRE scores & official documentation of Health Care Experience)
