Electrophysiology Laboratory

The EP Lab/Heart Rhythm Center performs electrophysiology studies, ablations-SVT, VT (ischemic and non ischemic), atrial fibrillation; pacemaker and ICD implants including biventricular devices, tilt table tests, cardioversions. We have both Carto and ESI mapping systems, AcuNav, biplane fluoroscopy. We provide extensive patient teaching pre and post procedure.

The EP lab/Heart Rhythm Center also has a device support group that meets 2x/year at Oasis in Shoppingtown Mall, Dewitt, NY. This support group is well attended by anyone who has a device implant (pacemaker or ICD). We sponsor different speakers including exercise physiologist, pharmacist, registered dietician, doctors.

EP lab staff are members of the Heart Rhythm Society. In the past 5 years, 3 abstracts have been accepted for presentation at the Heart Rhythm Society annual meetings.

The EP patient volume has increased approx 60% in the past year.
