Quiet is the stillness,
yet movement beckons

like the soaring wings of birds
effortless in the sky

and currents of water
that go to snow and dew

as thoughts through the psyche
as darkness to light

so clouds change their shape
just as we growing old

take every offering
with smile or frown

until memory fades
and breaths stop
